Duties of Current Occupation
I've been working with horses for yrs. & detail oriented, hardworking woman looking to join the stable/barn team. . I want to make not only the owner happy but, also costumers happy too! I'm also going to school , AAEVT.
Equine Work Experience
I can turnout & switching turnout, feedings, can give meds (interjections, etc.), can identify lameness, colic, other behavioral issues, first aid ( horse & rider), wraps, bandaging, pulling manes, all grooming details, & hard working chores (mucking, shavings, water buckets, hay)& clean tack. I will do laundry, fold & wrap wraps. If needed will do night checks, I don't mind, my job is care for horse. I have even slept over nights at barn because of horses being really sick. Gave meds when vet told me time & also keep a chart for horse (time of med, intake , output, changed fluid bags, behavior, pulse, respirations, temp). This not only helps the vet but, client, barn owner, & clients trainer to see progress or vet has to take another step.
Can work with hoses with behavioral issues. Lunging experienced. I have a special connection with all horses. I have people skills.
