BHS Stage 1
Currently I’m in Florida for the winter season working under a dressage trainer. My typical duties in the day include grooming, taking care of all the horses and barn, and I am able to ride under instruction.
I was working at a large show barn for about 5 years now which has taught me a lot about grooming and taking care for the horses. I was caring after the 30 school horses making sure they are clean, clipped, and feeling good. Now, I'm working under a FeI Dressage trainer for the winter in florida learning all i can from her. I also went to college for equine business and management degree.
My specialties are my grooming skills. I really like to groom and quite a perfectionist. Also, I can do robert jones bandages and stack wraps and love doing them. I also really like dealing with horses with lameness issues. Since I got my horse unsound and rehabilitated him back. My goal in the future is to teach beginner lessons to kids. I’m very good with kids and I enjoy working with them and teaching them all they want to learn
I am have my foundations when it comes to my riding and usually ride english. I'm a decent flatwork rider but of course I'm still learning and will always be learning. Right now I’m training with a FEI dressage trainer learning and getting better everyday. I am also able to drive a single horse carriage.
I haven’t really wanted to compete but I have done a couple small shows with my horse just to say I did it. And I showed a couple school horses at my last job when I needed to fill the class. I know a far amount when it comes to show just haven’t had a want to show.
