I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Equine Business Management and Riding from Johnson & Wales University in 2017. At JWU, I had the opportunity to work alongside several accomplished riders and equine professionals, both in and outside of school. In my time there, I was fortunate enough to have had the experience of working in a barn of 32 horses, including retired show jumpers, level III dressage horses, green horses, and off-the-track horses.
At JWU, I trained with a concentration in dressage. I had the opportunity to show horses in-hand at many barns all over Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including Ocean Echo Farm (RI), Warren-McMullin Dressage (MA), and Phoenix Rising Horse Farm (MA). I also have ample experience as a groom. I also interned with a barn manager and reining trainer at Morning Star Horse Farm (RI).
I put in a notable amount of time volunteering at Special People United to Ride (SPUR)—a hippotherapy program in Lincroft, New Jersey. I assisted instructors in lessons, therapists in equine assisted sessions, and head counselors in camp lessons and activities. This experience has made me fluent in horse and human psychology and therefore, I have a distinct talent for horse and rider pairing.

In college, I was a founding member, vice president, and captain of the Western IHSA team at JWU. Additionally, I had the honor of being the assistant coach of an IEA team for the 2017 season.
