Over ten years of work in the equine field and studied two years under the Equine Science Department in college. Have worked with all breeds for basic care, assisted and learned about breeding and foaling at college equine facilities, and taught able-bodied and therapeutic riding lessons. I have also held management positions in different facilities to raise my level of responsibilities.
Daily tasks in the barn while catering to over 70 horses. Daily turn out and bringing in schedules, feeding, grooming, tacking, exercising, and maintenance work. Mild doctoring and veterinary care, but not a trained professional in that field.
I have ridden since the age of 9, and did some competition showing for a few years. I have worked with horses for over 10 years, and have also taught therapeutic riding lessons for a couple years.
Management experience with volunteer coordinating and running shifts on a full time schedule. I am a very dedicated and hard worker, always willing to learn something new. Charismatic personality and a very open mind to different cultures. I also have my bachelors degree in Social Work. Worked as a Peer Mentor for the LGBTQ dorms at college, worked in many types of industries to experience new work environments, started a non-profit with my mom for anti-bullying.
Hunter/Jumper. I did some western riding and showing but found my passion in jumping.
3 years of western showing flat classes, and 5 years of hunter/jumper showing classes.
