My background is in restaurant management, but I've been working on making a career change into the equine world. I've been working at my boarding facility for the past 1.5 years in order to gain all the knowledge that I can!
Dressage, showing, braiding, young horses, schooling schoolmasters, all-around horse care including making grain, feeding, medicines, wrapping(polos and standing), packing hooves, stalls, turnout, lungeing, grooming, IM shots, treating various conditions, identifying various conditions.
From my management background *Customer service, employee hiring/firing, training, coaching, HR issues, inventory management, budget control. etc.
Dressage, but can ride all disciplines Currently schooling 3rd level and working with my youngster on 1st level.
I have shown in Dressage frequently in the past 2 years earning great scores, and of course a few flops!
My 22 year old schoolmaster: 1st level scores averaging around 64%, low 59/high 67, Regional Championships two years. This year we scored 61, 64, 65 for the weekend. 2nd level average about 61(low 53/high 66)
My youngster: first ever show at T1&T3 (while battling young horse distraction and "freshness"): 63, 65, 68 Showing 1st level Nov. 18/19 Very talented horse
