I consider myself to be very mature for my age. I am responsible and detail-oriented, yet efficient in my work. My leadership and interpersonal communication skills are well developed and I enjoy working with children. Although I am a relatively inexperienced rider, I am very confident around horses (and all other animals).
Currently, I am a Senior in High School. In the Fall of 2018, I will begin my studies as an undergraduate student at a local University.
From a young age, I have been captivated by the beauty and grace of horses. During the summer months, I participated in leisurely Western trail rides.
In the Spring of 2014, I began volunteering with a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding organization, deicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with special needs through equine assisted activities. As a Side-Walking volnteer, I was responsible for the supervision, care and teaching of youth riders with Autism spectrum disorders.
Since the beginning of March 2018, I have been taking English riding lessons, with an emphasis on proper horse care, tacking and grooming and horse physiology and psychology.
Next year, as a undergraduate student, I hope to join my University's Equestrian Team.
English Riding at a Beginning/Intermediate level.
I have no Competition Experience.
