I have years of experience working in the horse industry including (but not limited to) being a manager / assistant trainer at a training/lesson/breeding facility in California, a weekend manager at a large boarding facility as well as being a barn / traveling groom for a successful three-star event Rider. I'm knowledgeable of horse health care and illnesses. I can administer medication, including IM and IV injections, and treat wounds.
Equine Work Experience
Being available for any and all farrier, vet, dental and therapy appointments.Driving a tractor for manure spreading, mowing, and snow plowing. Weed whipping, farm maintenance, and arena care: pulling, picking, dragging and watering. Hay production from start to finish. Property upkeep and maintenance, fixing broken water lines, dragging arenas and turnouts.Trailering horses out for lessons or breeding.Maintain the health and happiness of horses. Feeding, management of their daily care, safety of turnouts,quality of water, noticing and caring for any injuries.Helping with the daily exercise of clients horses: tacking,cool out, grooming,bathing,blanketing, hacking horses on and off roads, lunging,wrapping,de-worming, first aid in any other tasks to meet the needs of horses and trainer.
