I have a little bit of experience in most equine fields. My primary experience would fall into breaking/training/racing Standardbreds. I have been involved with this since I was about ten years old when my parents and I first got into the harness racing business. I have had an active role in the business for the past five years. I have also been a camp counselor at a summer horse camp the past three years. Here, I have been an instructor for campers between the ages of 5-15. Teaching them the fundamentals of riding, horsemanship, and natural horsemanship. I am also a member of The University of Findlay's Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Hunt Seat team and Intercollegiate Dressage Association team.
I am also a member of the National FFA Organization, and through this I was a state winner for the state of Michigan in Equine Placement Proficiency with a gold rating. My application was then sent onto nationals where I received another gold rating, one of eight given.
