I currently work for an older couple at there estate which has two foxhunting horses. Daily care of the horses is turnout, grooming, bathing, tacking up, mucking, feeding, and anything else that comes up, as well as exercising on occasion.
Equine Work Experience
I've worked with a wide variety of horses, from therapy school horses to horses who have been barely broke. I've been a working student, stable hand, barn rat, assistant trainer, and more.
Type of Ride Work
I started riding at age 7, and began competing in the sport of eventing at age 11. I bought my first horse in the summer of 2015, and finished 4th in the USEA Beginner Novice Young Adult Devision that summer. My horse and I now compete at Novice, with hopes to go training in the future. I trained up to British Horse Society Level 3 riding, and have my certificatation at Stage 1.
I love the sport of eventing, and have competed up to the Novice level but trained up to Training. I have also done some show jumping, as well as some dressage.
