I would prefer to live at my own house since I have a dog and a mortgage.
I know basic vet care (for home) and just about everything about horse care. I love teaching and my passion is working with horses AND people!
Equine Work Experience
I have worked with horses for 20 years. I took lessons from 9-16 years of age, but have been riding without lessons outside of those years. At the age of 25, I began teaching officially. I have worked for the United States Humane Society on a 120 horse seizure out of Queen Anne's County and was responsible for care and training. I've done barn care in various barns for most of my life as well as exercise riding.
I have been working in the real estate industry as a National Account Executive. I am skilled in marketing, event planning, sales, management, and working with people. I also own my own horseback riding business but am currently teaching about 25 students "part-time". I come from a Jumpers background and have gone up to 4' comfortably. My dressage NEEDS work, but I am a fast learner.
Type of Ride Work
I have competed Hunter/Jumper and will start Eventing this year. I practice cross country and dressage, but my specialty is stadium jumping.
Starting Eventing competition in the spring with my new horse. Grew up competing Hunter/Jumper.
