Will be in Georgia for summers and Kentucky for school year. Available mostly evenings and weekends due to class schedule.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding for 10 years now and have been running my own small 7 acre 3 horse farm for the past 3 years, where I am responsible for everything from stall mucking to feeding to property maintenance to farrier and vet visits. I was a working student at Brookwood Farm Sporthorses in Georgia for approximately 1 year until I moved up to Kentucky for college. My background is primarily in stock horses, but I have worked with a wide variety of breeds and tried a large number of disciplines ranging from barrel racing to hunters to dressage. I have also competed in hippology and horse bowl through the Rockdale County 4H horse club, and I was on the Georgia 4H National Hippology team in 2017. I participated in the FFA Horse Judging CDE in 2017 as well and placed 3rd in our region individually. I am always looking to try new things and learn more about horse care and the horse industry!
