My equine experience started 17 years ago, at Stanley Luke Farm in Countryside, IL, where I have been ever since. Although I have had many oppourtinities in my equine career, I have never owned my own horse. In the end I think that factor has only made my riding and my knowledge greater. I have had the chance to lease, show and ride many different horses over the past seventeen years, which teachs you that each horse is different. It has made me more well rounded, and prepared for any horse that comes my way. I spent many years working for my barn, cleaning stalls, as well as grooming and working at horseshows. It shows you how much hard work and dedication it really takes to keep a happy, healthy horse. I consider myself an expert when it comes to grooming, wrapping, cleaning and basic first aid.
I consider my specialties to be hard work, dedication and wealth of knowledge of horses.
My main focus has been Hunter and Equitation, with Jumpers as well. Within the recent years I have been introduced to Eventing, including 3 day eventing. The dressage and cross country elements are newer to me, but has been a great success so far.
11 years of horse show experience at USEF A rated hunter, jumper and equitation events. As a youth, I competed in hunters and equitation, from ponies, to novice and then childrens. Jumpers was never my main form of competition but I have competed in it. As an adult, I have participated in adult hunters and equitation and 3 day eventing(including dressage, cross country and showjumping) up to the beginner novice level.
