I am interested in expanding my knowledge on all aspects of the equine industry, and one day I hope to narrow my focus to buying, selling, and training. I have a resume, references and videos upon request.
Duties of Current Occupation
At the equine barn at Berry College I have worked with every age horse from a couple hours old to many years old. Muck stalls and feed horses as well as perfrom vet care for those that need it. I am well versed in the day to day care of horses.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding for 14 years and own a 13 year old IRSH gelding, who I have shown in the children's hunters and novice equitation classes. I plan to start doing national hunter derby's this coming show season. This past summer I spent a week in New Mexico learning how to properly start horses, specifically wild mustangs, and spent the rest of the summer shadowing a equine vet.
