Two horses - 16 hand beginner friendly paint mare, and super sweet 30" mini gelding. Neither kick, bite nor have bad manners, and I'm more than willing to pay for their feed as long as there's a pasture and a shelter for them.
Duties of Current Occupation
Handling customers on a day to day basis and making sure daily tasks are completed to a high degree of satisfaction. If something has to be done right, I get put on that task.
Equine Work Experience
Thirteen going on fourteen years of riding, showing and training. Recently I've stopped riding, so a position without riding would suit me just fine, however I wouldn't be opposed to backing a horse again.
Showing AQHA, APHA, and AMHA(miniature) breed circuits. Would LOVE to work in a barn running one or several of these circuits!
Scheduling and Managing appointments - Lessons, Farrier work, Vet work.
Managing several head of horses.
Mixing feed rations.
Clipping, banding, braiding and general show grooming.
Versatile rider who is able to handle stallions, greenies and "problem" horses.
Ran my own lesson program for two years, instructed children beginner-intermediate for three years total.
