I have also worked for the UF Large Animal Hospital as a barn attendant, caring for horses at a large veterinary medical environment, and operating a front-end loader and forklift daily. I've been responsible for maintaining protocol for the cleanliness/stall stripping and reset for isolation, neurological, in-patient, ICU, scintigraphy, and out-patient horses/livestock in order to prevent the spread of disease and infection.
Animal Medical Care, Veterinary Assisting, Customer Service, and CPR/First Aid administration.
Type of Ride Work
I grew up teaching kids and adults the basic riding skills needed in a trail riding environment. I have ridden mostly western and bareback on many different horses of different ages, breeds, and personalities. I have ridden English a few times and have an interest in learning more about English based disciplines in order to develop myself further in the equine industry.
I have not performed in equine competitions, however am very willing to learn, and understand the basic performance requirements for each discipline.
