If accommodations are available, that would be alright...I have horses, but it is not necessary I board them at work.
Duties of Current Occupation
I currently care for 16 horses in California. I feed, groom, ride, train and clean up after them....I am looking to relocate to the east coast.
Equine Work Experience
Most recently working for myself starting young horses under saddle and then finding a good match regarding a home for the horses. I feed, groom, ride and oversee the daily care of 16 horses. I have experience trailering horses across state lines. I have stood a stallion for 14 years. I have foaled out many mares. I give bassic dressage instruction, but also can hepl train horses in piaffe and passage. I can braid, wrap, and present horses in hand, and have presented horses for breed revisions.
I have experience handling stallions, foaling mares, starting young horses, teaching children's riding lessons, helping middle aged women gain confidence with their horsemanship, and given dressage instruction. I have trained, groomed and showed my own horses in dressage. I enjoy learning anything new that can improve the lives of the horses under my care.
