I am seeking new employment because my previous employer of 11 years passed away and the farm closed. My friend has hired me until I can find a permanent position.
I was raised on a dairy farm where I learned and still have a vary good work ethic. Always animals first. After graduating from high school I went to a horsemanship school in Cortland New York. There I learned a get deal in being a riding instructor, trainer, and showman. I've been in the business of horses all my life and would bring years of experience and dedication.
Duties of Current Occupation
Overing the care of all horses and other animals, pasture maintenance, arena maintenance, and equipment maintenance, Teach hunt seat, on the flat and over fences, cross bars to 3'6", Order feed, carry out vet instruction and farrier instruction.
Equine Work Experience
50 years of farm manager, horse trainer , riding instructor (english .... hunt seat, dressage, eventing, driving, western, trail riding) show coach (cross bars up to 3'6") breeding stallions, foaling mares, working with foals, starting young horses under saddle, schooling young and older horses.
Farm management, horse management ( medical, nutrition, hoof care, grooming, turnout) riding instructor, (beginner to advanced), show coach, training horses, starting young horse, schooling horses, hauling horses, driving tractor with any equipment,
Type of Ride Work
Vary experienced in all of the following, starting young horse with natural horsemanship, training horses to drive and schooling horses of all training levels, trail riding, english hunt seat, Dressage and western.
4-H ( halter, showmanship, western pleasure, all games, english hunt seat) Hunt seat equitation, Hunter on the flat and over fences, up to 3'6", Jumpers up to 4", Dressage to 1st level, eventing in training level. My students compete successfully in A rated hunter equitation and Medal class, as well as hunter under saddle and jumpers.
