I have worked in the horse industry for several years now. I started as a working student for my dressage trainer in PA when I was in high school. I was a barn manager at an equine therapy barn for a few months also, where I cleaned stalls, tack, groomed, tacked up, and rode fox hunters that doubled as therapy horses. I worked for a western barn as well for about a year and a half, starting out giving pony rides and worked my way up to guiding trail rides, giving lessons and eventually managing. I've also taken 10+ years of lessons and clinics from many different trainers and have brought up my own OTTB from off the track to showing the hunters, jumpers and dressage.
Schooling/warming up horses of any level/discipline Drive truck and trailer Showing - Hunters, jumpers, dressage Cleaning stalls/barn areas Maintaining organization and order in the barn Grooming Cleaning tack
I have ridden and shown primarily in the hunters and jumpers but more recently switched to focus mainly on dressage with hopes of eventing. I have foxhunted as well and ridden quite a bit of western. I am willing to ride anything that needs to be ridden just for the chance to be on a horse.
I have shown in the hunters, jumpers and dressage. I have shown at mostly local shows but have been to a recognized show where I showed in the opportunity classes. I do not currently have USEF registration but would be willing to get it and show rated consistently if the opportunity presented itself.
