I have been riding since I was six years old, and although it was difficult to do lessons as a child (my parents didn't like horses) I was very bent on being around horses. I started out in saddle seat, but now I am trying to further my equestrian education. I have a solid foundation, and at the moment I am working on learning dressage. But, I am still just an okay rider. I would really like to devote my life to riding, and be the best rider I can be. I also can do ground and exercise work. I have volunteered at a horse rescue, and I work part time at a local farm where my horse is kept.
I've worked a lot with hot horses, and the horse I rode is very hot. But, I don't have nearly the amount of training I would like.
Type of Ride Work
Started off in saddle seat, but I am now learning dressage. I like working with hot horses, and I don't mind a challenge. I enjoy trails, but I really have very little experience in western riding. I have a lot of interest in natural horsemanship, as well.
I have only done small-time local fun shows.
