Degree in equine behavior.
Completed extensive time as a working student.
Years of practice training and teaching.
Graduate of horseshoeing school, followed by 10 years of successful horseshoeing.
Duties of Current Occupation
Farrier-hoof care/ balancing/and appropriate shoeing.
Trainer- strong dressage background, and uses that in the training of all types of horses. Experience starting young horses.
Manager- extensive managerial experience.
Equine Work Experience
Started riding at a young age (5). Full time in horse industry for 27 years. Degree in equine psychology. Experience with thoroughbreds as well as many types of sport horses, from starting babies and up. Teaching/coaching. Extensive managerial experience and skills. Full time farrier for ten years, tasks to include but not limited, to proper balancing of hoof, application of appropriate shoes, therapeutic shoeing, abcesses, hoof wall resection, casting ect.
Farrier work, dressage and combined training, with particular strength in dressage. Managment experience.
Type of Ride Work
Starting babies, dressage and jumping. Confidence building. Correct effective and systematic training techniques.
Many local shows for competition, with babies, client horses and students. Mostly lower level "baby" and beginner to intermediate student types of events.
