I have been employed as an equine caretaker on and off since I was 15, but I have been around horses my entire life. I am an extremely hard worker and take pride in the work I accomplish. I am proficient in all tasks relating to equine care. I can clean stalls, groom, clip, tack, deliver foals, and many other related tasks. I also know how to bandage and dress wounds. I am comfortable handling horses of all ages, young and old, stallions, high-strung horses, thoroughbreds, etc.
I specialize in exercise riding, breaking colts, retraining problem horses, and training performance horses. I also am experienced in all aspects of equine care taking including: cleaning stalls, feed/water, turning out, dressing wounds, wrapping, grooming, clipping, and delivering foals.
I was originally trained as a hunter/jumper. This provided me with a very good foundation. I have trained under Troy Crumrine (barrel racing), as well as trained barrel horses for the farm I worked for. I have trained several personal horses for the jumper ring. I thoroughly enjoy breaking colts, retraining, and working with problem horses.
I have not done much competing. I have attended a few local schooling shows in both jumping and barrel racing.
