Duties of Current Occupation
I LIVE IN OJAI, CALIFORNIA, AND I HAVE NOT YET PICKED WHAT UNIVERSITY I WANT TO ATTEND, so where I'm able to work/train at could be limited.
I'm only 16 and a high school senior, and I don't have a driver's permit yet... :)
Equine Work Experience
I have been working with horses for about 7 years now.
Started with gaited therapy with Missouri Fox Trotters (and a couple Nor. Fjords), showed English/Western.
Got my own mare (she was 4 years old) and taught her the Clinton Anderson Downunder Method, saddle broke her correctly, and begun dressage (NOT GAITED). I was 12 at the time when I started her under saddle. I have trained her under hunt seat, hunt/jump (up to 2'3-2'6 levels), English Eq., English pleasure, western dressage, shown her in Training Level (but has schooled her up to 1st level, and my dressage experience is much more extensive than hers), etc.
I started with gaited horses, and I own a MFT myself, in which I have trained her to do 3-Day eventing ALL BY MYSELF.
I am really good with young horses and I am a very confident rider, so if I fall off, I get back on. Although it's really hard to get me off in the first place...
Type of Ride Work
