Equine Work Experience
I have been showing, training, and working (with) horses for a solid 8 years now.
I started my journey working with gaited horses, as a 10 year old. My first horse was a gaited horse and it's been a real experience training her to be an all around horse. When I got her she only had trail experience, so I had to break her again, to erase a few pushy behaviors and re-introduce the saddle but in the arena. As a 12 year old working with a 4 year old, it took a lot of studying to teach her the basics in a correct manner.
It was then that I began to train her as a dressage horse. We both learned together, and as we grew I started to school over fences and today we are 3 day eventers.
Because of my hard work and dedication, my mare is able to compete USEA Novice, USDF First Level, and go further!
3-Day Eventing, Dressage, Show Jumping, and Gaited horses are all areas in which I have extensive experience with.
I love doing barn chores and cleaning. Whether it be washing horses to taking apart a bridle to oil it, I'm ready!
