Born to a family of riders, I had no choise. I fell in love. Starting in my youth as a hunter jumper, competing in regional and national shows. Purchasing my first horse myself at 15, I then competed and trained with High Level Grand Prix trainers, traveling the west coast show jump circut.
Moved home to then traine and teach for a 4 star international 3-Day Eventing coach and rider. Here I learned how to grow and manage a high level barn. Learning vetrinary skills, nutrition, conditioning and behavioral training. Riding up to 8+ horses a day, followed by teaching. Extremely high pace and high stress.
I am also an excellent hauler. I have shipped horses locally, as well as actross several states over multiple days in both large 8 horse, goose neck trailers or small 2 horse, bumper pull. I know all safety precausions, how to watch for the horses wellbeing, and tricks to get thim to stay healthy and hydrated.
I am a fantastic instructor and barn manager. Able to teach students of all ages/ levels of ridership. Participating in different discipline such as 3-Day Eventing, Jumpers and Dressage. 5 years of managing and directing as the lead Camp Instructor. 7 years as Barn Manager and Assistant Trainer. I also am a proficient C3/HB in the U.S. Pony Club. This program had taught me leadership skills, advanced horsemanship, teaching and student safety, as well has how to volinteer and help others.
I am excellent in Dressage, Showing Jumping and Cross-Country riding. I have taught for many years in all fields and have many references to show for it. I have trained green horses, conditioned old mounts, fixed problem horses and am knowledgeable in correcting ground or behavioral issues. Handling stallions, baby horses and OTTBs. Extremely competitive and have the record to prove it. Competing on international playing fields and in FEI levels.
