Equine Work Experience
I started showing APHA/AQHA when I was 12 years old. I showed under Rhonda Bowerman and I was lucky enough to become her assistant 4 years ago.
I specialize in all-around paints and quarter horses, but I have experience with Morgans and Arabians. I also have experience with jumping.
Type of Ride Work
I work with all-around pleasure horses and halter horses. I halter break babies then start them in halter, showmanship, in-hand trail and lunge line. Depending on their size and knees, I usually break them around 2 or 3 starting off with spur stop, simple bending, head placement and speed. I do not use a lot of leg or a heavy hand. After a few years my horses can be shown in any class, including bridleless!
Low and slow is what I do best! I'll show all day, starting in halter, ending in trail. I love to do it all!
