Knowledgeable about the day-to-day workings of a large Hunter/Jumper barn, which includes riding, teaching, showing, coaching, medical care, and general barn management.
Duties of Current Occupation
Seeking a position as a Trainer or Assistant Trainer to include riding client horses, instructing students, and some barn management duties. Would prefer a position which travels to some shows, but will also be happy to stay on the farm.
Equine Work Experience
Freelance Rider/Trainer: Middleburg, Virginia 2012-2017. Worked primarily with young horses in the Baby Greens through Green 3'3". Schooled ponies for a small pony barn. Started an OTTB and brought throught the 1.05m Jumpers to prepare for sale. Schooled Jumpers for 3-day Eventing barn.
Assistant Trainer: Portland, Oregon. 2004-2012. Schooled up to 6 horses daily in preparation for showing on the 'AA' circuit. Showed client horses in preparation for their weekend classes. Taught lessons to clients ranging from crossrails to Junior and A/O riders.
Hunters and Jumpers.

School horses both on the flat and over fences in preparation for the show ring. Utilize dressage training for all flatwork.
Have shown Baby Greens through Green 3'6" Hunters. Have shows up through 1.20m Jumpers.
