Duties of Current Occupation
Teaching beginner all around students through intermediate dressage. Trimming barefoot horses. Body clipping. Riding students horses to tune up. Coaching at shows.
Equine Work Experience
I hold a BS degree in Equestrian teacher/trainer from Lake Erie College. I have started horses under saddle and trained my current horse from birth to FEI Intermediare 1. She is currently schooling Grand Prix. I have earned my USDF Bronze and Silver medals. My students have done well at Intro and Training level, earning GMO year end awards. I am well versed in all aspects of horse care. Rehabilitation of injuries is an area of interest to me. I own several therapeutic modalities. I can trim barefoot horses. I have started several miniature horses to harness. I have worked as a working barn manager, handling all aspects of horse care. I have worked on breeding farms and can handle stallions, collect stallions, inseminate mares, and handle foaling.
Working with average horses and bringing out the best in them.
Rehabbing severe injuries in the equine athlete.
Working with students where they are and bringing them along to meet their goals.
