I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.

I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I have studied Certificate 3 in Performance Horses and Equine Nursing for 2 years at TAFE (Technical And Further Education) college, however I didn't complete the courses due to finding full time employment.
Care of 30 horses; mucking out; tacking up; bandaging; first aid; exercising horses; riding breakers; handling broodmares, foals and stallions; show prep (washing, clipping, plaiting); cleaning gear; packing truck for and grooming at competitions.
I have studied horses and equine nursing at tertiary level where we covered topics such as nutrition, reproduction, grooming and handling, riding and equine first aid. I have worked at a riding school performing the day to day care of the horses; as a polo groom where I was tacking up and bandaging polo ponies and volunteering as a trail guide at my local trekking centre where my duties included, tacking up and taking customers out on the trails. I then spent a year working as a racing stablehand. My duties included mucking out, feeding, tacking up, taking horses on and off the walker, supervising horses on the treadmill and occasionally strapping at trials. I have worked full time at a professional training/breaking yard for3 years. Here, I was involved in a number of aspects of the horse industry from riding breakers, thoroughbred and event horses, to assisting with foaling, handling mares/foals, competition grooming and all general horse duties.
