Equine Work Experience
I have been riding since I was 8 years old, taking lessons at Wild Winds Ranch switching to Jordy Johns with Stonehouse Stables to competitively show in western pleasure. After Jordy's passing I changed my riding style to jumping and dressage, competitively showing and traveling to various barns for lessons with show horses to lease for competing. I currently own a welsh pony (Tilly) as she was my project in middle school and recently bought a new project a quarter horse filly (Barbie). I was a barn manager at Wild Winds Ranch until it was sold to new ownership. I am currently applying to vet school to become an equine orthopedic surgeon and have a summer internship with the Bangor Vet Clinic.
