I'm part of a Running Start program, taking college-level courses and on track to earn an Associates of Arts degree in Business Management by June 2025. Although I haven't completed any equine-specific courses yet, I'm actively seeking opportunities to further my knowledge and skills in the equine industry by getting a working student/apprenticeship position for an eventing barn for the summer of 2025 and beyond.

With over 7 years of experience in the equestrian industry, I've developed a strong foundation in horse care and riding. Since 2017, I've been actively involved in Western mounted games, and more recently, I've been leasing an English horse and taking eventing lessons. Additionally, I've worked as a stable hand and exercise rider at Rose Equestrian Center (2022-2024), where I gained valuable experience in daily horse care, lunging, and riding as well as took lessons with an upper level dressage rider. Currently, I'm working as a barn hand at the Barn on Dutch Hill (2023-Present), where I provide daily turnout and exercise horses when needed. This hands-on experience has not only honed my riding skills but also taught me the importance of attention to detail, time management, and effective communication in a fast-paced equestrian environment.

Ridden various types of horses. Assisted in starting a green 4-year-old with trainers' guidance. Successfully worked with a rearing problem horse, overcoming the issue with patience and consistency. Have some experience in dressage, and jumping. Participated in a high school equestrian team, competing in performance events, drill team, cow sorting, mounted games and more. Currently taking eventing lessons and competing in schooling shows.

I've been an active member of my school's equestrian team, reaching the regional finals each year. In addition, I've been participating in schooling shows in dressage and jumping, gaining valuable experience in both disciplines. Experience as a competition groom.
