I am graduating with a bachelor's in physics in May and am looking for summer work in the horse industry. I currently am a member of the Hamilton College Equestrian Team and work as a Sustainability Coordinator doing fieldwork and reforestation work.

Although I have not had a paid position in the equine industry, I am a confident and capable horsewoman. I have been a member of multiple riding associations and barns, and have over a decade of riding experience. I cared for my own horses for over six years.

I have taken on many leadership roles throughout my academics and career. I am efficient when it comes to handling crisis, and enjoy taking on responsibility. My scientific training makes me detail-oriented, and I will consistently perform my yard duties at a high standard. I am physically able to perform hard manual labor and operate machinery.

I have had 8 years of lessons and 12 years of riding experience. I rode and trained in dressage for 10 years, and have experience in jumping, mounted games, cross country, equitation, pony club, and western riding. I have experience with training and handling green horses. I have ridden everything from green to schoolmaster, and am comfortable with a wide variety of training and experience levels.
