Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.

Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
While I have not completed any formal education or work experience relating to the equine industry, I offer a wealth of knowledge gathered from informal learning, and I believe this is deeply valuable. I am deeply passionate about learning and improving the performance of myself, the horses work with, and my studnets.
The main duties of my position include communication, sample collection, lab-work, extensive note-taking, and client education. I work closely with management to resolve conflicts in the workplace and follow company protocols.
I consider myself incredibly lucky and grateful for the thorough education I received through my role as a working student and trainer at Stormyranch Mustang Training and Learning Center in Sheridan, Oregon. I am deeply confident in my ability to gentle and train wild as well as domestic breeds under saddle. My mentor, in exchange for my labor, provided me with daily lessons with herself and several other members of her community. I consider myself and my horsemanship as, "classically trained in the work, methods, and ideology" of Tom and Bill Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and Buck Brannaman. I have attended and participated in many clinics with one of Buck's students, Joel Conner, who happily provided a reference when I applied and was accepted for a working apprentice position on the Brannaman family ranch. Unfortunately this apprenticeship never came to fruition due to COVID. I have grown into the role of teacher and trainer at Stormyranch, and work on the development of several students.
I believe that my greatest specialty and strength is my ability to manage several different projects at once. By nature, I am incredibly task oriented, and I enjoy successfully working toward and completing multiple goals and duties. I have also trained under several traditional California vaquero horsemen and have extensive experience working with wild horses.
As stated previously, most of my groundwork and riding experience follows the teachings of Buck Brannaman. I focus on teaching the horse a variety of movements on the ground to prepare them to move successfully under saddle. Right now I am very interested in studying footfalls and deepening my understanding of the horse's freedom of movement and ability to maintain balance and posture. I'm constantly studying and learning, and always grateful and excited to learn more!
I am not an incredibly competitive person, and I do not prefer being the center of attention, so I have actually avoided competing, although I have done a lot of work behind the scenes working with competitors and preparing their wild horses for adoption events, which often take place at competitions put on by the BLM and other agencies. I also have experience supporting and assisting competitors at competitions.
