I work with 25+ horses on a daily basis, providing their grain, mucking, applying sheets/blankets, identifying wounds or colic and foundering, repairing equipment, providing hay, and administering their medication. First aid for horseowners certificate, some equine science classes in college as well as online courses on breeds and disciplines.

Equine care staff: make, memorize and give grain, provide sheets and blankets as necessary, identify health issues, use farm equipment, train new horses, administer medications, turnout. I've also had to follow quarantine procedures for new horses.

I have just under a year of experience working closely with 25+ horses daily. I have worked heavily with retired racers as well as rescues from pretty rough backgrounds and young horses (2-7) I have fair experience with administering oral and ocular medication. I have base and course knowledge on injection sites for shots and other injected medications but have not done them myself yet. I have applied leg wraps but could definitely use more experience with it.

I have dealt with high turnout (27+) daily, worked with breaking young horses and have lots of experience with senior horses and rescues!
