Duties of Current Occupation
Right now I help exercise and train 5-6 horses a day here in Southern Utah. I work with a western horse, young green jumper, hunter thoroughbred, three third level dressage horses (dutch warmblood, hanoverian, and welsh pony), and a few other breeds.
Equine Work Experience
I currently work at a horse dressage barn here in southern utah. i have worked as a horse trainer/exerciser for a full 2 years now and have grown my cliental business to my fullest with 5-6 different horse clients a day now all while also working as a mortgage loan officer 9-5. I have ridden at 4 other different barns here in southern utah as well. Overall, I have been riding and working with horses here for a full 14-15 years now.
Specialities
I have worked with a large amount of different types of horses. I have restarted a 3 year old mare and an older thoroughbred with past trust issues. I have a specialty in people teaching and communication; since I am also licensed mortgage loan officer in 7 different states and am very social in my carerr. I ride 5-6 horses a day since I started my own horse cliental business helping exercise and train a broad amount of different types of horses at my barn here in southern utah.
Type of Ride Work
I restarted my first horse (a 3 year old mare) when I was first learning how to ride. I had to learn how to ride and train a young green horse at the same time. I then rescued a thoroughbred who had lost trust in people due to a bad past owner. I retrained him in dressage and moved him into eventing and we went on the win every eventing, dressage, and show jumping show in Utah for 3 years in a row before I decided to retire him. I now ride 5-6 different types of horses a day for my horse clients
Competition Details
I have competed in recognized dressage, show jumping, and eventing shows in Utah and Nevada. I went on to win first place in the Nevada dressage shows and the Utah State Hunter Jumper Champion of the year award in Utah.
