I have handled horses since I was a kid and I have loved it and I want to make a career out of it. I have worked with some young horses and have put on a solid ground work on many of them. I worked and a natural horsemanship bath for a couple of months but they shut down due to low income. I loved it and it was so much Fun. I learned so much and I implement a lot of it now with my horse and I have seen a huge difference in me and my horse.
I currently work with kids with autism and have been for 1.5 years now. I want to get more involved with horses and make them my career. I also want to get out of Utah and try something different.
I have a 17.2hh thoroughbred and I have owned him for 2 years. I have ridden horses for 8 years and they have become my life. I have fed 15-20 horses daily including, watering, grain, supplements, hay, blanketing, basic vet care for injuries (wrapping, cleaning calling the vet, hosing) holding for farrier and vet. I have worked with some younger horses in ground work and have become very good with ground work.
Groundwork, feeding, training, grooming, tacking, teaching, showing, basic vet care, deworming
I started riding at 11 in barrel racing and wasn’t loving it so I changed to Eventing and I have been eventing ever since. I have leased multiple horses and I am now owning my second horse. I have been showing consistently for the past 3 years. I have helped groom, tack, hold for the farrier and provided basic vet care for horses.
I have competed in eventing for 6 years but the past 3 years have been more consistent. I have competed up the beginner novice and I am looking to expand my riding abilities.
