Equine Operations Specialist

Equine Work Experience

I’ve been lucky to work with horses in a variety of settings. At C Lazy U Ranch, I cared for over 200 horses—prepping and saddling 100+ a day, guiding rides, teaching lessons, and handling medical care. I also helped with feeding, fencing, and cattle work. As Equestrian Coordinator for Camp Fire First Texas, I taught kids to ride, managed feeding schedules, and coordinated vet and farrier visits. And as a Drover for Visit Fort Worth, I combined horsemanship with public interaction—driving cattle and engaging with thousands of visitors. Altogether, I’ve built strong skills in horse care, instruction, and ranch operations, along with adaptability, safety, and professionalism.

Competition Details

I’ve worked at multiple high-level horse shows, including HITS and WEF, helping with daily horse care, grooming, and ring prep. Those experiences taught me how to stay organized and calm in fast-paced show environments
