Currently I am a Teacher. I was a Zoo Keeper for 10 years. During those 10 years I have worked with a variety of animals. I did work with hoof stock during that time. Animal training and husbandry where the main components when I was a Keeper.
While I do not have any horse specific training, I am looking to leave the teaching field, and enter back into the animal care industry. I would really like to learn horse training/riding. During my time as a Zoo Keeper I worked with a variety of animals. The skills I developed while a Keeper are skills such as; animal husbandry, animal training, tilling the yard, learning how to drive a bob cat (to move logs and trees into or out of elephant enclosure),& providing medical attention to animals.
