In the past two years, as an intern and volunteer, I have been responsible for mucking stalls, lunging and groundwork, schooling in both western & english tack, grooming for daily lessons and national shows, managing turnout, and feeding and watering

I have experience as a riding student for 12 years, volunteer groom and horse handler for 2 years, and intern for the past year. I have been a working student for a private instructor, as well as working with three therapy barns and helping rehab rescue horses.

I have worked with quarter horses, mules, morgans, and cobs, as well as working at a therapy barn of 37 horses across many breeds, although I mostly schooled the quarter horses and cobs. I was classically trained for the first 10 years of my education as a rider, before transitioning to dressage and reining lessons in college. I am comfortable riding lower-level dressage, hunter under saddle, basic western pleasure, and basic reining patterns.

As an intern, I worked as a groom at NSBA Worlds this year.
