Have been riding the A/AA circuit for over 20 years. I have been working in the industry since age 18. I'm incredibly professional with positive client relations, very detail oriented, and will always go the extra mile. I put a strong emphasis on horse care and am very knowledgeable in nutrition, etc. I have experience teaching all skill levels from beginners up to girls doing the upper level jumpers. Numerous character references from highly reputable individuals upon request.
In charge of all scheduling including shipping, farrier, vets, lessons, show entries, ordering supplies, managing grooms, making grain/adjusting diets, daily show schedule and rotations, all show office duties, night check, teaching lessons, riding.
I've been riding and competing in A/AA shows since age 5, trained by The McCormicks. I have lived in Europe, riding young jumpers. I have been an assistant trainer the past few years and have my professional status with USEF/FEI. I am small enough to fit on small & medium ponies but also strong enough to handle large jumpers. I‘ve helped students qualify for Pony Finals, Junior Hunter Finals, Maclay Finals, Devon, Young Riders, as well as all Indoors with positive results. I’m incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to show prep, hunters or jumpers, and will go the extra mile to help my team succeed. I have experience managing large teams of grooms and always pitch in when necessary. Scheduling shipping, show entries, grain ordering, developing individual horse nutrition plans, and maintaining great relationships with show managers are all qualities I bring to the table. I am used to living on the road so would fit in best at an active show barn.
Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation, Green Horses/Ponies, Flatwork, Upper Level Jumpers, Teaching students from pony hunters up to Grand Prix level, Barn Management Duties: administering meds (IV + IM), all scheduling including shipping, vet, farrier visits, show entries and all show office duties including splits + closing out for clients, billing, keeping track of points, FEI paperwork, working with sponsors, social media, all organization, managing grooms, etc.
I have ridden & taught in barns located in California, Florida, Texas, and Europe. I have extensive barn managerial skills, have been a head FEI groom and have my professional status with USEF. I’m comfortable riding green horses but am also proficient in riding horses to prepare them for clients. I have no preference on where I live, have a valid passport, and am willing to relocate anywhere for the right position.
Grew up riding with The McCormicks. Ranked in the top 5 of USEF Zone 7 every year showing on the circuit, many championships/tri colors & classic wins at WEF. Recently my showing has taken a back seat as I’ve focused on managing/coaching but could easily step back into the show ring, hunters or jumpers.
