Equine Work Experience

I started out working at a thoroughbred farm that had a few broodmares and we would get in a few different horses a year either to touch up training or for resell I have had the pleasure to learn a bit of everything from trail riding to dressage with a 3 star eventer. I have gone to cross country clinics, caveletti clinics, endurance clinics, bomb proofing clinics, show jumping clinics, have exercised thoroughbreds for flat and steeplechase racing, and have trained the newly popular working equitation. I have showed low levels with green horses and usually they were sold soon afterwards, I have also foxed hunted and ridden innumerable pace events with horses from green to intermediate.

I have taught beginners, and in pony camps mostly in Pennsylvania where I spent most of my time riding, I am currently in a Bachelors program through Saint Andrews University.

Specialities

I have 20+ years of experience with foals, weanlings, yearlings, and two-year-olds, experience in starting youngsters and restarting off Track Thoroughbreds. I have worked with complicated horses. I am a Military veteran and as a Sergeant I have had team leading experience. However, I also know that to be a great leader you have to listen to you team because they may have a bit of information you never learned about and being an equestrian is all about learning something new every day.
