I have worked full time as a groom in the past.

I am very passionate about horse care. There have been many rehabilitation cases that I have orchestrated throughout the years. I braid, standing wrap, polo wrap, and have the capability to do many other essential horse care duties. IV and IM injections are also familiar territory for me. I’m a strong proponent of the “horse first, sport second” attitude.

My primary background is in the hunter/jumper world. I have also had many OTTBs in my life that I restarted and moved along. Most recently, I have been focused on dressage; this has helped me expand on my dressage-based hunt seat equitation background. Unfortunately, my USEF record does not reflect my experience due to various personal circumstances throughout the years.

I was an equitation rider at the open level in both IEA and IHSA, in addition to extensive local show experience. Over the last few years, my focus has been on dressage, and I have competed successfully through first level at USDF-sanctioned competitions. Unfortunately, my main show horse suffered a career-ending injury before we were able to compete at 2nd level successfully.
