I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration in Zoology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

Accessing animal health, customer service, appointment scheduling, boarding/kennel work, hand writing medical records, medicating small animals: dogs/cats via oral/injection, blood draws, aided doctors in surgery, cleaned cages and surgical equipment

I have not had any professional equestrian experience, but do have some experience working with various farm animal. I helped a veterinarian friend take care of her small farm while she went away on vacation with her family. I took care of her chickens, dog, cats, goats, sheep, and cattle. I did not have to do too much hands on work with the cattle or the sheep, but I feel very comfortable working with any large animal if given some training. I have been doing this work for the past two years while working as a vet assistant and getting my bachelors degree in biology.

Animal care and husbandry. I have lead several class projects, event planning, babysitting, lead key holder for weekend kennel care, and any animal medical care I was responsible for and needed assistance from coworkers. I place myself at the highest standard when it comes to the quality of work that I do. I am hardworking in any project or assignment that I am given and not afraid to ask any questions if I need help. I am also a very quick learner and would pick up any equine skills if trained.

I have no experience free riding on a horse. I have ridden on trail horses and a few horses at a local stable that were lead by someone for a photography shoot. I have grown up around a horse and cattle and feel very comfortable around them. My boyfriend who would live with me at this job has some riding experience along with driving trailers.
