I began riding when I was 10 years old, and from then on, I have grown a lot in my knowledge of horses and horse riding. For the first 6 years of lessons, I was trained in hunters/jumpers, and was a part of 4-H. I began leasing my first horse when I was old enough to get a job (15) in which I showed him in 2' hunter/jumpers on the 4-H show circuit, as well as the Smokey Mountain show circuit. I’d also like to add that I was in IEA my senior year. All while leasing my first horse, I rode five days a week, focusing on flat, and jumping once-twice a week. In November of 2022 I began leasing an ottb, which is when I made the switch to jumpers. I enjoy jumpers a lot more, mostly because of the complicated courses, and the skills it gave me in quick thinking. I showed this horse in 2'6"-3' jumpers. I have also worked on a horse farm for 3+ years while also working at countryside vet as an equine vet assistant.
