Duties of Current Occupation
- Assist in handling, feeding, grooming, and occasionally exercising polo ponies, both during and between polo seasons.
- Work to maintain clean and conditioned tack as well as neat and organized facilities.
Equine Work Experience
Besides the polo experience I've detailed above, I also previously worked as a student for a Florida dressage barn between 2021 and 2022, where I:
- Provided basic daily care for four+ horses,
- Worked to maintain clean and orderly facilities.
- Independently pursued learning opportunities with the barn manager as well as with the head and assistant trainers, such as assisting in the application of some equine medications and observing both professional and amateur training sessions.
