Looking for a groom/rider position. I don’t mind if riding isn’t apart of the plan. I’m hardworking, trusting, loyal and always on time. I would like a live-in position as well. I enjoy flat work, ponies (I’m small enough to ride a medium pony), jumping (getting back into jumping), and challenges. I don’t really ride baby horses who are just starting out but I’m willing to challenge myself if I have to for it. Getting a flight is hard to come and fly out.
I have not completed any college qualifications but I have done summer camps at the horse rescue I used to volunteer at and I’m sure I got some sort of certificate by the end of it.
I have 8+ years of horse riding/equine experience. I used to work at my local stables and I volunteered at a horse rescue for a few years.
I have experience riding both western and english. I do have experience leading a team. I am quick at mucking out stalls as well as feeding and completing other barn duties. I have occasionally worked with foals and stallions when I volunteered at a horse rescue.
I have not started a horse or have much experience with green horses but I have ridden horses that have not yet been suitable to be used in riding schools, ones that required more training. I also have experience with very stubborn horses. I have experience riding both English and Western as well as bareback occasionally. I do have beginner experience with jumping but I only did that briefly.
I have not been involved in organizing competitions but I have competed in a few local competitions and helped out during those competitions.
