Although I don't have any course certifications or college credits in my belt I have gained a lot of knowledge through volunteer and work experience.

I've worked and volunteered in equestrian positions for 10 years. I worked at a hunter/jumper show barn for 1 year and western barns including lesson barns and group/private trail riding barns. All of these jobs included tacking up & down, cleaning tack, feeding, mucking, grooming, lunging, turn outs, blanketing, cleaning stalls and isle ways, some arena work, clipping and administration of medications and general barn upkeep.

I've worked in both Western leisure barns and English show barns. I maintain a high standard of cleanliness and upkeep. I've worked with a wide variety of breeds and a few green horses.

I've ridden green horses as well as experienced horses. Mostly trail and flat work. I would like to gain experience in mounted archery. I am intermediate but have a deep desire to learn more and become a more advanced rider.

I have never competed but have worked with show horses and assisted at shows as well as in the barn.
