Looking for the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing achievements of a supportive and collaborative team with a progressive equestrian program for summer circuit and WEF 2025 with a focus on long-term success. Will provide cover letter/professional resume/equestrian resume/professional references, including pictures and videos upon request.
I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
A mature and reliable individual with transferrable skills and a varied work experience, seeks a temp role to complete Ride Safe & general riding. Opportunity to ride out/develop in-hand work welomed. Home counties preferred.
Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I started riding when I was 5 and showing when I was 8. I also competed in events such as 4H horse bowl and FFA Horse Evaluations.
I majored in Art with a Graphic Design concentration. Not only do I know how to work with horses, I know how to market the horses and people I work with. My skills include everything from: web design, print marketing, video editing, and social media creation and scheduling.
All my years of equine experience can be credited to growing up at a barn and the equestrians who trained me. I was taught how to handle the day-to-day activities of how a barn runs both at my home barn and the two professional barns that I frequented growing up. I was taught by my instructor and my mother, both who are professionally trained equestrians. I learned from them how to handle the inevitable issues that arise with keeping horses, and how to navigate the hectic show scenes that come with competing. The trainer that taught me in my later show years specifically gave me experience with showing young horses, and how to handle them with a soft and experienced touch during unfamiliar show settings.
I have a lifetime worth of experience working with horses of different levels. I've ridden a wide range of horses: everything from schoolmasters to green horses. I have a lot of experience in team leading and management. In my previous role, my job title was quickly expanded to include both Design and Project Manager responsibilities. I handled scheduling, client interactions, social media creation, and job delegation. I am detail-oriented, excel at time management, and excel at problem solving.
I have almost 20 years of experience working and showing horses. I was taught to problem solve with my own horses. From a young age, I was taught how to gently help them through any issue that arose, rather than to hand them off to someone more experienced. I've ridden a wide range of horses: everything from schoolmasters to green young stock in need of a soft but experienced hand to guide them. I am an experienced rider on the flat, and have intermediate experience with low level jumping.
I started showing at local shows at 8. By middle school, I was competing in local, 4H, AQHA, and PHBA shows. In high school, I competed in primarily AQHA shows. During college, I took a break from showing to focus on my studies, choosing instead to take jumping lessons as my schedule allowed. I am now currently searching for a local barn to continue my riding education in eventing.
