I earned my Straightness Training (ST) Instructor Certification grade 1 and part way through grade 2 from Marijke Dejong from Portugal. Her ST programs have helped me refine my training of young horses and older to become more balanced, more symmetrical, supple and less prone to injury because of it. I have improved my skills with Ground work, lunging, liberty and Work in Hand. This has increased the horse's understanding of what I’m asking when I ride them.

I retired from my Finance/accounting career and am now full time working with horses. I typically buy yearlings, train and compete them in dressage, or over fences. I have bred horses, one, my stallion which is now competing in the 3' hunters.

I have not worked for anyone else in the equestrian field, just for myself, however have received training and clinics from top professionals.

I have a small farm & have a high standard. I have been riding & training horses since the age of 4. I typically purchase yearlings, train and compete them & have also bred a few horses. I currently own four horses; one 4th level mare, a younger mare second level this year(in video), my own bred stallion competing 3' hunters and a two year old I'm just starting. I worked in the corporate world for many years & had been supervisor of large teams. ..

I have ridden a variety of horses over the years, starting youngsters and training them up the levels successfully.

Over the years I have competed in show jumping up to 1.25m, hunters, dressage up to 4th level, working on Prix St. George with older mare and dabbled in English & western pleasure, and eventing when I was younger.
