Duties of Current Occupation
I make sure the farm is taken care of along with the 20 quarter horses. With is maintenance work, feeding, cleaning stalls, equine first aid (if necessary), handing horse of all ages, moving them to the barn to pastures, PEMF and Bemer Therapy.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked on a horse farm for 2 1/2 years. I have experience in riding western, handling horses, picking feet, grooming, tacking, maintenance work, equine first aid, giving medicine/paste, cleaning stalls, and other basic farm chores.
Specialities
I have worked with foals, young geldings and mares, and full grown horses. Some were green horses, but most have been to 60 days of training and are rideable. I work on a horse farm with around 20 plus performance quarter horses and training horses. I work along side my boss, the owner of the farm and there are a few farm hands. I am a hard worker and will help whenever it is needed. I can muck stalls or handle horses, whatever the job is and need to get done.
Type of Ride Work
I have experience in western riding. I have went on many trail rides, but that is mainly the riding that I do.
Competition Details
I have not, I have worked on a horse farm with performance horses and horses we train to go to the sale. I also have experience working in therapeutic riding. I volunteer at Palmetto Equine Therapeutic Riding Program.
