I have an AS in Equine Science. I hope to have my PATH Intl.Therapeutic Riding Instructor Certification completed shortly. I am 9 teaching hours away from being eligible to take the exam. I plan to take the exam in August 2022.

Duties of Current Occupation

CTRI, Therapeutic Riding, Basic/Beginner Riding Instruction, horse handling, turn in/out, stalls, feeding, grain setting, equine first aid, schooling horses, lunging, grooming, volunteer cooridinating,

Equine Work Experience

I have about 5 years combined experience of working with horses. I've worked with standardbred, and thouroughbred race horse on the track. I've worked at a dude ranch with trail horses as a trial guide, and most recently I've worked with therapeutic riding horses, and show horses.

Specialities

Certified Therapeutic Riding instructor. Experience with teaching, leading, and trainning volunteers.

Type of Ride Work

I can school horses in flat work. I prefer not to ride green, problem horses. I have no hands on experience in starting a horse.
