Equine Work Experience
I have been in Pony Club for 15 years and have my H-B C-2, I have mostly competed in Pony Club competitions and have been to nationals multiple times. I have regularly fox-hunted with the Santa Fe Hunt based out of Kingsway Farms for the past 7 years. I have also been teaching beginner and intermediate riding lessons at the Portuguese Bend Pony Club for the past 2 years.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden young horses, green horses, and problem horses in show jumping and dressage. I have ridden my own horse in eventing and dressage. Most of my experience has been with off-the-track thoroughbreds.
Competition Details
Regularly compete in Pony Club regional and national competitions including riding and being a stable manager/groom. Went to Pony Club nationals in 2017 and 2021 for Tetrathlon, Pony Club Western Championships in 2015 for Quiz (a competition in horse knowledge and the application of that knowledge), 2018 for Tetrathlon, and 2022 for Dressage. I also compete in our Regional Quiz, Show-jumping, Dressage, and Tetrathon competitions.
